Carola Speads Good breathing teachers live extra long lives. Carola Speads quietly taught breathing work for 82 years. She passed away in 1999 nearly 99 years old in New York City. She was and is in my opinion a leading example of a breathing coaches ability to stay at the heart of the matter and not get lost in the glitz of energetic zeal and overload which is the source of stress and distancing from one's inner self for so many. She did not say it as such, but to me her work as handed down to me through Margaret Leong, addresses the very foundation of the breath; the natural breathing reflex. It was a gift straight from God. Thank you Carola and Margaret. |
