There are many who have lost their inner feel of what breathing should be like and have a difficult to impossible time following written instructions or even a good video. Integrity suffers and on we go.
Gay Hendricks has extensive experience in the field of relationships and personal growth. He states often that he wants to become rich and famous. Practically everyone who gets to know him will attest to that. But famous for what? I call him Lord Gay. His most redeeming virtue is his wife Dr. Katie Hendricks who is a masterful movement therapist.
In 1993 he published a book about breathing called Conscious Breathing. Some good insights in it. It includes 10 sidebars from my 1992 booklet Get More Done and Have More Fun. He did not acknowledge the source of all those side bars so I asked him three times over 10 years to do so.
His last email to me justified his actions (in writing) by saying that Deepak steals from him, Andrew Weil steals from him and for me to question his taking from me is to be "pathetic". This comment followed a comment by me about how good he was as taking other's work and making it his own.
Lately he bought
www.breathingcoach.com and breathcoach.com opened a web site on those subjects. He knows I
have been called the Breathing coach for over twelve years and in fact
in 2003 introduced me as such to several of his email group as the breathing coach.
How pathetic.
