Breathing Exercises FIRST develop your
breathing properly. Our breathing development system is not so
much about breathing exercises. We employ a few but we have found that
"breathing exercises" mean many things to many people and as a grouping is
a poupourri of good, mediocre, bad, confusing and outright dangerously
unhealthy ways for using the breath and breathing. We carefully choose
what breathing exercises we DO employ based upon physical function, form
and the health, peak performance, self expression, emotional balance and
life extension goals of our students.
The Breathing Exercises in this web site are listed on the programs page as well as with each appropriate program theme. They are utilized differently in different situations. Sometimes one will be more important then another. Other times not. Depends on the goal or situation. Most important are sequencing, balance, smoothness, depth, ease, strength, integration and coordination from the throat, chest, abdomen, back, sides and crotch both front to back, side to side and diagonally. They are included in several program themes. Choose the most important theme to you at present and get the breathing exercise(s) in that theme. Most programs include holistic products that compliment them. These holistic products can be purchased at a savings with the program or separately. Our basic ground floor fundamentals program. Hundreds of insights, techniques and exercises stemming from years of research and working with the breath and breathing. |
