From a Breathing Mastery Kit customer comparing our Optimal Diaphragm Strengthener.

I bought the Frovlov device but it was marketed as the Breathslim. I like using it but I now just incorporate it into my health program and don't follow Buteyko exercises anymore. It does help me breathe better for quite a while and helps me not breathe so hard.

I just watched your DVD2 again and picked up a lot of things that I missed before. I think there a few things in life that feel really great and the reflex breath is one of them.

I still like the diaphragm strengthener from your program best. Actually they work very well together if you alternate the two. However, I reach for the diaphragm strengthener most of the time because it is the simplest to use. Also by using the breath to float the ball, at various heights, you can achieve the same benefits as the Frovlov device. It is a good device and you might find it useful to use for some clients or for specific times. If I have to pick one - I pick the diaphragm strengthener.

I use the DS usually 2-3 times a week - and the Breathslim as an alternate on some of those days. Yes, I do the strapping technique and remember from first starting with your breathing program the emphasis on strapping to release tensions caused by any breathing resistance training.  I am getting much better with the strapping exercise and often use it to help get a better and easier breath. I think it has a lot of merit on its own. This is one of my favorite exercises and gives me great feedback on my current state of breathing and being". Mike Yates
From Mike. I tested out the Breathsim
many years ago when asked to help market it but I declined because I felt after using it that it was helpful for some but limiting. A tipping point occurs where you can not develop any further.  It was invented by a Russian named Frolov.  They changed the name to market breathing and weight control. I believe it will help awaken people to the power of breathing but in my opinion it is no way even close to the potential with our mastery program.
