Oxygen
Concentrators/Generators
Altitude: 7,500 feet
maximum to still produce 95% oxygen.
As air gets thinner, oxygen percentage is reduced. Therefore, the unit is not recommended above 7,500 feet altitude for health challenges that require 95% oxygen. For example, an airplane usually has the equivalent cabin pressure of 7,000 feet altitude or 16% oxygen. As the air gets thinner the percentage of oxygen diminishes below the normal output of 95% that the unit is built to produce. However, for exercise and sleep, any additional amount of oxygen that you get is better than the thinner air at the altitude you are breathing on your own. The unit will always produce the same amount of oxygen that will be reduced in proportion to the higher altitude.
