Optimal Breathing & The Alexander Technique Optimal Breathing is about assessing, therapeutic release and breathing skills development that transform our breathing into a fuller deeper more natural rhythm. The AT is being aware of habitual tension patterns, mentally releasing them, changing the habits that cause them and finding our natural anti-gravity support system in every thing that we do. Together these skills have changed my life. Physically I have released a hiatal hernia, low back pain and exercise induced asthma. I am in better shape at 45 than I was at 25. The even bigger surprise is how the embodiment of these modalities has affected my mental, emotional and spiritual life. Oh and Mike got me singing for the
first time in my life.
