Tim Grismer

During the Optimal Breathing class I attended I came away with training in techniques to improve breathing.  In addition I was given tools that are useful in evaluating a persons current state of breathing and how to use the evaluation as a baseline when working on breathing development.

The Optimal Breath Release  techniques were the ones I find most helpful.  The strapping and other techniques are all excellent as well.

There are three primary areas that I will apply what I learned this weekend. Personal application, martial arts and swimming.  On the personal level I will use what I learned to improve my own breathing, health and performance. I experienced an increase in breathing volume and relaxation using the techniques.

Having been involved in the martial arts since 1977 I always looking for ways to help myself and students breathe better. These techniques will help martial artists become more grounded and centered.

I am involved in working with a swimming program at a high school. There is a great deal of potential in working with swimmers using the Optimal Breathing techniques.

The majority of our swimmers are seasonal non year round swimmers. I believe that we can gain a competitive edge by training them to breathe more efficiently.

Performing the techniques of Optimal Breathing has for me increased my lung capacity , improved my breathing mechanics and increased my overall energy.  I look forward to helping others have the same experience.
